Prentice Owen Morrison

Mr. Prentice "Owen" Morrison, age 76, of Murray, Kentucky died Friday, October 03, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Morrison was born in Calloway County Kentucky on April 8, 1938 to the late Prentice Morrison and Cozie (Peters) Morrison. Mr. Morrison was a retired mechanic, a member of the Almo Church of Christ and was a Vietnam War Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by one grandson, Austin Morrison.
Mr. Morrison is survived by his wife, Gloria Dean Morrison; two daughters, Belinda Wilson and husband Jerry and Gay Nell Newberry; one son, Barry Morrison; and two grandchildren, Mitchell Danielson and Erin Morrison all of Murray, Kentucky.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stewart Cemetery with John Dale officiating and burial to follow. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
