Mr. Ralph Burns Harris

Mr. Ralph Burns Harris, age 93, died at The Farms in Puryear, Tennessee on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

            Mr. Harris was born on July 1, 1930, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Rupert Harris and Ruby Willoughby Harris.  He was a carpenter and a member of the Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.   He was also a member of the Temple Hill Masonic Lodge, # 276 F.&A.M.  

            In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna (Deweese) Harris; one sister, Valta Ross; one brother, Glen Harris; and one son-in-law, C.W. Nance.  

            Survivors include one daughter, Sheila Nance of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Ricky Harris and wife Patty of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Larry Harris, of Murray, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Brady Harris of Nashville, Tennessee, Bradley Harris of Calvert City, Kentucky, and Adam Nance and wife Terri of Murray, Kentucky; two great-grandchildren, Addison Harris and Colton Harris of Nashville, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; as well as special friend and encourager, Katherine Howard of Murray, Kentucky. 

            A private graveside was held. There will be no public service or visitation held.
