RC Evans

Mr. RC Evans, age 76, of Murray, Kentucky, died, Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Evans was born in Paducah, Kentucky on December 25, 1935. Mr. Evans was a retired multi – million mile truck driver; he was also a licensed amateur ham radio operator. Mr. Evans was a member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church.
Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his parents and by one son, Ricky Evans.
Mr. Evans is survived by his wife, Lori Lynn Brandon Evans of Murray; two daughters, Debbie Pfannerstill and husband Bob and Shelia Haynes all of Murray; two sons, Larry Evans of Murray and Chris Evans and wife Daniele of Paris, Tennessee; two step sons, Robert Bickerton of Hamlin, Kentucky and Jeremy Rogers of Murray; mother of his children and friend, Wanda Morrison of Murray; as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the Ledbetter Baptist Church Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Paul Bogard officiating. Burial to follow. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
