Mrs. Reba Dell Schroader, age 89, of Dexter, Kentucky, died on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at her home.
Mrs. Schroader was born in Dexter, Kentucky on April 15, 1931, to the late Stanley Hopkins and Mary Belle (Childress) Hopkins. She was a retired Nurses Aid at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital and was a member of the Independence United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Schroader; three sisters, Estelle Hopkins, Mary Nell Fountain, and Edna Morrison; as well as seven brothers, Hersey Hopkins, Bill Hopkins, Glenn "Boe" Hopkins, Charles Hopkins, Frank Hopkins, W.H. "Doug" Hopkins, and Harold Junior Hopkins.
Survivors include one daughter, Joann Schroader of Almo, Kentucky; one son, Ronnie Schroader and wife Elaine of Dexter, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Jeffery Dale Schroader and fiancé Amber Bush of Dexter, Kentucky and Eric Schroader and wife Shannon of Dexter, Kentucky; three great-grandchildren, Rikki Greywolf and husband Karter of Dexter, Kentucky, Jake Schroader of Dexter, Kentucky, and Dylan Schroader of Dexter, Kentucky; as well as one great-great grandchild, Jayden Delaney of Dexter, Kentucky.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 12, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Richard Burkeen and Rev. Jim Stahler officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., on Friday, March 12, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
