Richard "Dick" Gay

Mr. Richard "Dick" Gay age 78 of Murray, Ky., died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the Paducah Care and Rehabilitation.
Mr. Gay was born December 27, 1933 in Johnsonburg, Pa., to the late William Roland and Grace Derr Gay.
Mr. Gay was a member of the Westside Baptist Church, had retired from Briggs & Stratton as the Quality Control Manager, and had previously retired from the United States Air Force.

He was survived by two daughters, Ann Moyal and Sherry Gay both of Murray; two sons, Leon Miller and wife Sherry of Amarillo, Tx., and Richard R. Gray and wife Rosa of Lake Charles, La.; one sister, Thelma Jean Nielson and husband Ronald of Guys Mills, Pa. also five grandchildren, Landon Miller of Fla., Justin Miller of Tx., Carrie Kaput of Az., Dylan and Dustin Miller of Murray, Ky. also Five great grandchildren.
In addition to being preceded in death by his parents, also his wife, Mary Lynn Laughter Gay, son, Sidney Eugene Miller, brother, Bill Gay, sister, Carol Gay.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Rev. Glynn Orr will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, November 23, 2012 from 3-6 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
