Ricky James Boggess

Mr. Ricky James Boggess, age 56, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Mr. Boggess was born on October 1, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois. He was the owner and operator of Sykes Plumbing and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Boggess was a member of the Murray Masonic Lodge #105 and the TMXA Association.

Mr. Boggess was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Onie Sykes; as well as his paternal grandparents, Edgar and Allie Boggess.

Survivors include his wife, Ashley (Smith) Boggess of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Brady Austin Boggess of Murray, Kentucky; three stepchildren, Taytum Mitchell, Paige Grinnell, and Jackson Grinnell all of Murray, Kentucky; parents, Joe E. Boggess and Perscilla (Sykes) Boggess of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Ray Boggess of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Sherry Wyatt and husband Kelvin of Huntsville, Alabama; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. There will be no public service held.
