Ricky "Womp" Morgan

       Mr. Ricky “Womp” Morgan age 62, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the TriStar Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee.

          He was preceded in death by his mother, Virgina Morgan; brother, Tim Morgan; and bonus daughter, Ashley Buie.

          Womp was of the Baptist Faith. He was a roofer for 35 plus years and enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, pets, and watching Nascar Racing.

          Survivors include his father, Max Morgan; special friend of the family, Paulette Irvan; sister, Laurie Morgan; soul mate, Jackie Folena; nieces, Brittany Morgan (Wade), Megan Brannon (Steven); great nieces, Adrianah T., Emma B., and Lilly B.; nephew, Remy B.; bonus daughter, Samantha Callahan; bonus grandchildren, Waylon and Madeline; as well as sister-in-law, Phyllis Morgan. 

          A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2024, at the Murray City Cemetery with Bro. Sammy Cunningham officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
