Robert Hicks

Mr. Robert Lewis Hicks age 81, of Murray, Kentucky, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born February 18, 1933 in Model, Tennessee, to the late Delbert and Nancy Rogers Hicks. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hicks was preceded in death by three Sisters, and four brothers. He retired after 35 years as a skilled Tradesman, and was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Peggie Hicks of Murray, they married July 26, 1951, in Booneville, Ms., one daughter, Pamela Crews (Lyen) of Lexington, Ky., two sons, Steven Hicks (Jimena) of Miami, Fla., and Timothy Hicks (Deborah) of Dearborn, MI., one brother, John Hicks, of Peoria, Il., four grandchildren, Anthony Pernice of Lexington, Ky., Elizabeth Crews of Lexington, Ky., Samantha and Cody Hicks both of Dearborn, Mi., and one great grandchild, Aubrey Pernice of Lexington, Ky.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Rev. Tim Escue and Rev. Doug Hicks will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Monday, March 31, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
