Robert Bob Singleton

Mr. Robert "Bob" Singleton age 94, of Murray, Kentucky, died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.
He was a member of the First Christian Church of Murray; he was an Army veteran of WWII; he was retired from the McCracken County Board of Education as the Band Teacher; he was a graduate of Murray State University with his masters in music education; he was a member of the Phi Mu Alpha music Fraternity.
He was born in Calloway County Kentucky on February 21, 1917 to the late John R. and Ollie M. Douglass Singleton; in addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Edrie Singleton; one sister, Mary Rowland; one brother, Barber Singleton.
He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Singleton of Murray, Kentucky.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Saturday, December 24, 2011 at the Murray Memorial Gardens with Pastor Ruth Ragovin officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 24, 2011 starting at 9:00 am at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
