Roger Dale Underwood

Mr. Roger Underwood, age 58, of Murray, Kentucky died at his home on Sunday, August 21, 2016.

Mr. Underwood was born in McMinnville, Tennessee on September 2, 1957 to the late Lexie and Grace Orelle Underwood. Mr. Underwood was a former employee of the City of Murray Street Department. He was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents Mr. Underwood was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Stella Inez Harmon.

Mr. Underwood is survived by his wife Sherial Underwood of Murray, Kentucky, to whom he married on October 15, 1994; one daughter, Heather Kirks and husband Jeff of Murray, Kentucky; three sons, Eric Underwood and wife Samantha of Medina, Tennessee, Blake Underwood of Trezevant, Tennessee and Jamie L. Fox of Murray, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Alexis Fox of Murray, Kentucky, Abigail Kirks of Murray, Kentucky and Korbin Winberry of Medina, Tennessee.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale officiating. There will be no public visitation.
