Ronald Melvin

Mr. Ronald Melvin, age 58, of Murray, Ky., passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 4:55 a.m. at the Murray Calloway Co. Hospital. He was born in Calloway County, August 9, 1952, to the late Kenneth L. and Charlene Cloys Melvin. Before retiring he was owner/operator of Melvin’s Tire Store.
Mr. Melvin is survived by his wife, Sheila Melvin of Murray, KY; daughters, Angelia Cook and husband Scott of Murray, KY and Brandi Melvin of Louisville, KY; sisters, Sherian Rorer and husband James of Madisonville, KY and Patricia Taylor of Huntsville, Alabama; brother, Tommy Melvin and wife Denise of Mayfield, KY; grandchildren, Jacob Melvin, Isaac Henson, and Sara Henson, all of Murray, KY; uncle, Adrian Cloys and wife Margaret of Murray, KY; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 30, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Steven Hunter officiating. Burial will follow at the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 29, 2010, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
