Ronald Eugene Sturges

Mr. Ronald Eugene Sturges, age 69, of Murray, Ky. died on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Mr. Sturges was born on January 26th, 1944 in Loma Linda, CA to the late Lewis Sturges and Pearl Lewis Sturges. He was employed for thirty plus years as a Pulse Power Engineer at the Los Alamos National Laboratory and was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church, where he was an assistant teacher of the adult 2 Sunday School class and served on several committees.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra "Sandi" Sturges of Murray, one daughter, Sarah England (Craig) of Paris, TN, two sons, Randy Sturges of Santa Barbara, CA, and Matthew Spiegel (Meredith) of Santa Barbara, CA, two brothers, David Sturges (Elaine) of Truxton, NY and Robert Sturges (Jo Ann) of Manhattan Beach, CA, one grandchild, Sydney England of Paris, TN., as well as two nieces.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one son, Russell Sturges.
A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Point Pleasant Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Dukes, Pastor Steve Gallimore, Bro. Christopher Hines, and Bro. Craig England officiating.
