Dr. Ronald L. Wuest, DC, age 79, of Murray, Kentucky, died Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray.
He was born in Angola, Indiana on July 11, 1939 to the late Karl Wuest and Marie Dodson Sheets.
Dr. Wuest was a 1968 graduate of the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and he had also attended Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. He was a practicing Chiropractor for 49 years and prior to his illness he was the owner and operator of Family Chiropractic Center in Murray, Kentucky. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Murray, Kentucky, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the American Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Wuest is survived by his wife Lynn (Mileff) Wuest of Murray, Kentucky, whom he married in Angola, Indiana on April 11, 1964; he is also survived by two daughters, Stacy (Wuest) Mason and husband Bryon of St. Louis, Missouri and Stephanie (Wuest) Foster and husband Dan of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Dr. Jon Wuest, DC of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Karl Wuest and wife Mary Alice of Woodlands, Texas; five grandchildren, Nicholas Wuest of Paducah, Kentucky, Logan Foster, Maggie Wuest, Katelyn Wuest and Alex Wuest all of Murray, Kentucky.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2019 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Vacca and Rev. Jim Stahler will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
