Mrs. Rosie L. Cook, age 101, of Murray, Kentucky died on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray, Kentucky.
Mrs. Cook was born in Trigg County, Kentucky on March 22, 1915 to the late John Thomas Gregory and Ellen Rosie Lee Gregory. Mrs. Cook retired from the Murray Co-Op in 1976 and was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband Dewward Cook, who died in 1983; one daughter, Betty Milton; two sons-in-law, James Hutson and Harry Milton; one sister, Floy Erickson; and by two brothers, Roy Gregory and Chester Turner.
Mrs. Cook is survived by one daughter, Lagena Pfeffer and husband Wendell of Dudley, Missouri; two sons, Donald Cook and wife Dorothy of Murray, Kentucky and Ronnie Cook and wife Charlotte of Murray, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, 1 step great great grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale and Blake Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Hicks Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
