Mr. Roy Damon Williams, age 84, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Monday, September 30, 2019, at his home.
Mr. Williams was born on March 3, 1935, in Murray, Kentucky to the late Victor Williams and Alpha Jones Williams. He was retired from Murray Rental & Sales and was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Mr. Williams was a member of the Brooks Chapel United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one son, Mark Williams; two brothers, Rudy Williams and James Williams; as well as two sisters, Opal Walters and Hilda Dick.
Survivors include his wife, June Williams of Murray, Kentucky; to whom he married on June 5, 1960, in Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Jana Amalfitano and husband Rob of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Roy J. Williams and wife Teresa of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Agnes McClain and husband Charles of Murray, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Courtney Pridemore and husband Daniel of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Kyle Parker and wife Emily of Murray, Kentucky, Amanda Dick and husband Sam of Farmington, Kentucky, and Chris Williams and wife Cayla of Murray, Kentucky; as well as two great-grandchildren, Haylee Dick of Farmington, Kentucky and Ella Dick of Farmington, Kentucky.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, October 4, 2019, at the Brooks Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Robert McKinney officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
