Ruble S. Taylor

Mr. Ruble S. Taylor, age 94, of the Lynn Grove Community, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.

Mr. Taylor was born in Henry County, Tennessee on May 10, 1920 to the late Floyd L. Taylor and Neva M. (Windsor) Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a retired self-employed car dealer. He was a member of the Murray Masonic Lodge, #105 F&AM and a member of the Salem Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Johnnie L. Taylor, who died in 2007; three sisters, Ruvene Moffitt, Martha Wallace and Geraldine Van Etten; and by two, brothers, Bill Taylor and Cody Taylor.

Mr. Taylor is survived by four daughters, Diane Boyd and husband Max, Della Martin and husband Carlton, Deloris Boyle, and Louella Barrett and husband Carl all of Murray, Kentucky; one son, George Robert Taylor and wife Beth of Paducah, Kentucky; four sisters, Frances Vance of Murray, Kentucky, Barbara Roberts of North Port, Alabama, Sylvia Sanert and husband Errol of Murray, Kentucky and Lynda Cooper and husband Gerald of Murray, Kentucky; ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Murray Memorial Gardens chapel in Murray, Kentucky with Rev. Jim Stahler officiating. Burial to follow. There will be no public visitation.
