Ruby Arnett

Mrs. Ruby Arnett, age 99, of Coldwater Community, died Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Mayfield, Kentucky.
Mrs. Arnett was born in Trigg County, Kentucky on July 28, 1915 to the late Seldon S. Herndon and Jessie Gower Herndon. She was a homemaker and a member of the Coldwater Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Arnett, one son, Ruben Arnett, one sister, Mildred Hutchens, 3 brothers, Herbert Herndon, Thomas Herndon, and Clarence Woodrow "Woody" Herndon, Sr.
She is survived by two daughters, Freeda Holladay and husband Olian, of Kannapolis, NC, and Patsy Watson and husband Lorin of Abilene, TX, four sons, Richard Arnett and wife Marilyn, of Portland, TN, Paul Arnett and wife Debra, of Lancaster, OH, Dr. Harold Arnett and wife Randa, of Wathena, KS, and John Arnett and wife Frieda, of Franklin, KY, one sister, Edythe Herndon, of Murray, KY, two brothers, James Herndon and wife Sue, of Murray, KY, and Orville "Corky" Eugene Herndon and wife Mamie, of Kuttawa, KY. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, and 39 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2014 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bobby Gardner and Mike Turbeville officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 6:30p.m. -8pm at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
