Ruby Buchanan

Mrs. Ruby Buchanan, 91, of Murray, KY died Wednesday, November 07, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Buchanan was born July 31, 1921 in Calloway Co., Ky. to the late Coleman and Ida Vaughn Darnell. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include four nephews, Ray Newsome of Paris, Tn., Danny Edwards, Bill Edwards, and Glenn Edwards all of Murray, Ky., three nieces, Darlena Hodge of Benton, Ark., Carolyn Foy, and Christine Lee both of Murray, Ky.
An addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Buchanan, one son, Coleman V. Buchanan, two sisters, Pearl Edwards, and Ophie Lee, three brothers, Homer, Willie, and Claude Darnell.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Bro. Gary Vacca will officiate, and burial will follow in the Sinking Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
