Ruby Fitts

Mrs. Ruby R. Fitts, 92, of Freeport, IL, formerly of Murray, Kentucky, died Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the Provena Nursing Home in Freeport, IL.
Born Nov. 16, 1918 in Calloway Co., Kentucky to the late Reed and Alice Smith Fitts. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by nieces, LaRue Garland and husbandLewis of Murray, Kentucky, Mardelle Parent and husband Tom of Freeport,Illinois, Lonnie Faye Rogers of Troy, Michigan and by one nephew, David Fitts of Florida.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fitts was preceded in death by three brothers, R.B. Fitts, Beauton Fitts, and Rex Fitts; and by two sisters, Autumn McKinney and Maynon Fitts.
A graveside service will be held Monday, September 26, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at the Hicks Cemetery with Bro. Paul Bogard officiating. Burial to follow. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 26, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. The J.H. Churchill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
