Ruby Richards Milam

Mrs. Ruby Ellen Newton Richards Milam, 94, of Murray, KY died on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Murray – Calloway Co. Hospital.
Mrs. Milam was born in Ohio County, KY on October 30, 1917 to the late Jim Newton and Emma Dewitt Newton. Mrs. Milam was a homemaker and a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Murray.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Milam was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Noel Richards; second husband, Laymon Milam; as well as two sisters and four brothers.
Mrs. Milam is survived by two daughters, Martha Crawford and husband Bobby Nix of Murray and Lois Hamm and husband Bobby of Knoxville, TN; five grandchildren, Kelli Paschall and husband Terry of Murray, Shane Newbold and wife Becky of Hohenwald, TN, Craig Crawford and wife Kelly of Bowling Green, KY, Stacy Newbold and Shelly Tolson and husband Joe all of Knoxville, TN; as well as eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Burial will follow on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 in the Owensboro Memorial Gardens in Owensboro, KY. Visitation will be held prior to service on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until funeral hour.
