Ruby L. Satterwhite

Mrs. Ruby L. Satterwhite, age 85, passed away, January 1, 2011, at 7:44 p.m. at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital ER. She was born March 4, 1925, to the late Albert and Bessie Aaron Lee in Stewart County, TN. She was a member of the Farmington Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, W.G. (Top) Satterwhite; brothers, Dalton Lee and Dossie Lee; sisters, Onie Sykes, Emma Kidd, and Della Satterwhite; and a granddaughter-in-law, Rondah Hale.
She is survived by daughter, Jo (Johnny) Wilson of Murray, KY; sons, Earl (Cyndy) Satterwhite of Murray, KY, and Bobby (Cheryl) Satterwhite of Murray, KY; sister, Mable Sykes of Murray, KY; grandchildren, Teresa (Ricky) Middleton of Puryear, TN, Jamie (Ann) Wilson of Advance, NC, Jackie Hale of New Providence, KY, Chris (Sarah) Satterwhite, of Murray, KY, Monica (Chad) Lawson of Murray, KY, and Nikki (Jeremy) Stom of Kirksey, KY; step-grandchildren, Patti (Monte) Woods, Mayfield, KY, Kim Edwards, Murray, KY; 11 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren;1 great- great grandchild and 1 great-great-step-grandchild; three sister in laws, Helen (Harold) Darnell of Farmington, KY, Hattie Kiser of Peoria, IL, and Vita Satterwhite of Murray; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. John Dale and Bro. Matthew Williams will officiate with entombment to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
