Ruth Mohundro Ferguson

Mrs. Ruth M. (Mohundro) Ferguson, age 95, of Murray, Kentucky died on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.
Mrs. Ferguson was born in Henry County, Tennessee on May 5, 1923. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hazel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ferguson is preceded in death by her parents, E. Crawford Mohundro and Dora (Overcast) Mohundro; her husband, Everett Ferguson; two brothers, Harold Mohundro and Wm. Bill Mohundro; grandson, Terry Gibson; grandson-in-law, Paul R. Jones; as well as two brothers-in-law, J.D. Roberts and Milton Owens.
Mrs. Ferguson is survived by two daughters, Gracie (George) Erwin and husband W.A. and Geraldine "Geri" (George) Tucker and husband Curtis all of Kirksey, Kentucky; two sisters, Louise Owens and Sue Roberts both of Murray, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Anna Erwin Jones of Kirksey, Kentucky, William Erwin and wife Melody of Kirksey, Kentucky and Mark Gibson and wife Monika of Shawsville, Virginia; and three great-grandchildren, Nathanial, Madison, and Emma Grace Erwin all of Kirksey, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Clint McCoy and Rev. Kerry Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Foundry Hill Cemetery in Henry County, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
