Ruth E. Robinson

Mrs. Ruth Evelyn McDonald Robinson, 72, of Murray, KY, died Wednesday, May 05, 2010, at 5:15 p.m. at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, KY. Mrs. Robinson was born in Smithland, KY on December 31, 1937 to the late Rease McDonald and Mary Elizabeth Hosick McDonald. A homemaker and of Church of Christ Faith.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, William Mac Robinson, who died in February 2002, two sons, John Rogers and Marty Robinson and one brother Benny McDonald.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by one daughter of Murray, KY, one son, Mike Rogers and wife Kathy of Puryear, TN, three sisters, Anna Lois Lemere and husband Tom of Peotone, IL, Marcie Mayo and husband Ray of Clifton, IL, and Janell Johnson and husband Jim of Steger, IL, two brothers, Cecil McDonald and Gerald McDonald both of Saulk Village, IL, one granddaughter, several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren survive, special caregivers and friends, Lisa Eckert and Sabrina Outland.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale officiating. Burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, May, 10, 2010 also at the funeral home.
