Mrs. Sally Ann Carpenter

Mrs. Sally Ann Carpenter, age 77, of New Concord, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.

Mrs. Carpenter was born on October 04, 1948, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Tony Grill, Sr. and Irene (Miller) Grill. She retired as a cafeteria worker at Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw, Michigan and was of the Lutheran Faith. Mrs. Carpenter was an avid gamer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Emerson Carpenter; two sisters, Angela Shafer and Laura Grill; as well as one brother, Tony Grill, Jr.

Survivors include one daughter, Rachel Ellen Fisher and husband Larry of Dover, Delaware; one sister, Patricia Guttowsky and husband Jerry of Murray, Kentucky; as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no public services or visitation held at this time.
