Sandra Kay Canerdy

Mrs. Sandra Kay Canerdy, age 80, of New Concord, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

 Mrs. Canerdy was born on May 24, 1944, in Calloway County, Kentucky, to the late Hafford and Connie Montgomery Adams. She was a retired legal secretary for Haverstock law office and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband J.D. Canerdy; as well as two brothers, Ronald Adams and Leon Adams.

 Survivors include a sister-in-law Dorothy Sue Adams of Murray, Kentucky; a niece, Susan Kay Schmidt of Knoxville, Tennessee; and six nephews, Bill Adams of Austin, Texas, Chuck Adams and wife Mary Lou of Murray, Kentucky, Mike Adams and wife Theresa of Paducah, Kentucky, Jeff Adams of Mayfield, Kentucky, Tim Adams and wife Suzie of Mayfield, Kentucky, and Tony Adams and wife Jennifer of Mayfield, Kentucky; as well as a special friend, Rick Key of New Concord, Kentucky.

 A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2024, at Murray Memorial Gardens. Pastor Tony Adams will officiate, and a burial will follow. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
