Sarah E. Faughn

Mrs. Sarah E. Faust Faughn, age 90, passed away Monday, April 04, 2011, at 3:45 p.m. at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital. She was born March 22, 1921, in Paris, Tennessee. Sarah was baptized and reared in the First Baptist Church in Paris where she was active in Sunday school and the BYPU. She was a member of Murray’s First Baptist Church. She was a graduate of E.W. Grove High School in Paris and had retired as assistant manager of Sears in Murray, KY.
Mrs. Faughn is survived by one son, Don Faughn and wife, Leisa of Murray, KY; two grandchildren, Carley Faughn of Lafayette, Louisiana and Chris Faughn of Tennessee; one sister, Zenona Faust Harris of Jefferson City, TN; nieces, Sharon McIntosh Wells and husband, Fred and Rebecca Dublin Landolt all of Murray; Paula Harris Wolfe and husband Gary of Jonesville, Virginia, Karl Harris and wife Thelma of Savannah, GA, Dr. Kim Harris and wife Dr.Lois Anne Harris of Liberty, MO and Barbara Schiappa and husband Charles of Carlisle, MA.
Mrs. Faughn was preceded in death by her husband, G. W. (Willie) Faughn; parents, George and Mary Faust; two sisters, Cordie Maie Dublin and Oreita F. Faidley; and three brothers, Basil, Atril, and John Thomas Faust.
Private graveside services will be held.
