Sheila Gray Branham

          Mrs. Sheila Gray Branham, age 70, of Dexter, Kentucky, passed away peacefully, Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Marshall County Hospital in Benton, Kentucky.

            Mrs. Branham was born on March 13, 1953, in Highland Park, Michigan. She retired as a caretaker for Almost Home Assisted Living in Fenton, Michigan and was a member of the Coldwater Baptist Church. She loved fishing, camping, four wheeling, deer watching, and canoeing alongside her husband, Larry. Besides being an outdoor enthusiast, she also enjoyed Hallmark Movies, the game show Wheel of Fortune, crossword puzzles, and board games.

            Mrs. Branham was preceded in death by her father, Billy Gray Wilkerson; as well as one brother, Rex Wilkerson.

            Survivors include her husband, Larry Eugene Branham of Dexter, Kentucky; they married on July 31, 1994, in Linden, Michigan; mother, Macie Brown (Thompson) Wilkerson of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Deanna Schrecengost and husband Todd of New Boston, Michigan; one son, Denny Begley and wife Amy of Belleville, Michigan; one brother, Ricky Wilkerson and wife Diana of Murray, Kentucky; as well as three grandchildren, Mason, Jesse, and Jared Schrecengost all of Michigan.

            A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Larry Salmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Bazzell Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
