Mrs. Shelby Louise Hosford, age 81, of Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.
Mrs. Hosford was born on March 9, 1940, in Murray, Kentucky to the late Henry Levi Ford and Flora Bean Ford. She was a homemaker and a member of the Kirksey Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hal Kirby Hosford; one brother, Jerry Ford; one sister, Jessie Miller; one granddaughter, Lindsey Rose Oliver; as well as three half-sisters, Sue Powell, Emma Elizabeth Powell, and Geneva Hatcher.
Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Hosford Paschall and husband Joe Wade of Hazel, Kentucky and Debbie Oliver and husband David of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, H.L. Ford and wife Norma of Murray, Kentucky; one sister-in-law, Linda Ford of Murray, Kentucky; as well as four grandchildren, Jonathan Paschall of Hazel, Kentucky, Kaci Paschall of Hazel, Kentucky, Will Oliver of Murray, Kentucky, and Jacob Oliver of Murray, Kentucky.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Hicks Cemetery with Steven Hunter officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
