Shelby Morrison

Mr. Shelby Morrison age 74, of Murray, Kentucky, died Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.
Mr. Morrison was born January 30, 1940 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Thurman Coffield and Thelma Elaine Dowdy Morrison. He was retired after 40 years of service from GoodYear Tire, and was a self-employed carpenter. He was also a member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church, and an Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by one sister, Sue Wood, and one brother, Randy Morrison.
Survivors include two daughters, Carlie Wilburn and husband Robbie of Almo, Kentucky, and Julie Coe and husband Bobby of Paris, Tennessee; four sisters, Wanda Evans of Murray, Kentucky, Linda Prescott of Murray, Kentucky, Ann Mathis of Benton, Kentucky, and Gaynell Pritchett of Dexter, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Jonah and Nathan Coe of Paris, Tennessee, Jessica Young of Hazel, Kentucky, and Brandi Wilburn of Murray, Kentucky; also three great grandchildren survive.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Rev. Kerry Lambert and Bro. Paul Bogard will officiate. Visitation will be held Monday, October 13, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
