Ms. Shirley Jean Elkins, 86, of Murray, Kentucky died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.
Ms. Elkins was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 22, 1927 to the late Clarence R. Durham and Novee Sally (Jones) Durham Sherwood. Ms. Elkins had worked as a LPN at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Ms. Elkins is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Owens and husband Steve and Millie Kadner and husband Rick all of Murray; one grandchild, Michael Birdsong of Murray; as well as two great grandchildren.
There will not be any public visitation or services held.
