Shirley McCarty

Shirley McCarty, 78, of Savannah, TN went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 22, at Skyridge Hospital in Cleveland, TN. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Charles O. and Ollie Hudson. She was united in marriage to Ted McCarty, who preceded her in death.
She was a longtime member of the Temple Baptist Church, where she served faithfully. She retired from Angelica Corporation after 30 years of service as payroll clerk. She volunteered with the Hardin Medical Center auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa McCarty King; son in law, Paul King; and two grandsons, Dalton and Alex King; all of Cleveland, TN.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015.
