Shirley L. Nance

Mr. Shirley L. Nance, age 91, of Murray, Kentucky died on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Mills Health and Rehab Center in Mayfield, Kentucky.
Mr. Nance was born in Graves County, Kentucky on May 8, 1927 to the late J.C. Nance and Myrtle (Hale) Nance. Mr. Nance retired from Roman Ceramics in Mayfield, Kentucky as a ceramic designer. Mr. Nance was an Army Veteran and was a member of the West Fork Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents Mr. Nance was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Nance; one sister, Marge West; as well as four brothers, James Nance, Bob Nance, Gerald Nance and Jerry Nance.
Mr. Nance is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Smith and husband Terry of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Stephen Nance of Atlanta, Georgia; one grandson, Brian Smith of Murray, Kentucky; as well as one great-grandson, Dillon Smith of Murray, Kentucky.
There will be no public visitation or services. A private family service will be held at a later date.
