Shirley Jo Raspberry

Mrs. Shirley Jo (Hutson) Raspberry, age 81, of Hazel, Kentucky died on Monday, June 27, 2016 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.
Mrs. Raspberry was born in Henry County, Tennessee on December 7, 1934 to the late David Hutson and Myrtle (Vaughn) Hutson. Mrs. Raspberry before retiring was a school bus driver for the Calloway County School System. She was a member of the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Raspberry was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald "ToJo" Raspberry, who died on December 4, 2007; one sister, Eloise Bucy; and one brother, Garlon Hutson.
Mrs. Raspberry is survived by one daughter, Vickie Powers and husband Ray of Murray, Kentucky; three sons, Gary Raspberry of Hazel, Kentucky, Tony Raspberry and wife Cheryl of Hazel, Kentucky and Jeff Raspberry of Hazel, Kentucky; as well as three grandchildren, Adam Herndon, Megan Oliver and husband Danny and Austin Raspberry; as well as four great grandchildren, Emma Oliver, Eli Oliver, Everett Oliver and Noelle Raspberry.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Virgil Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
