Mrs. Shirley J. Royal, 71, of Murray, Kentucky died Saturday, May 03, 2014 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mrs. Royal was born in Jackson, Michigan on March 3, 1943 to the late Ethan Allen Smitley and Lila Smitley. Mrs. Royal was a member of the Hope Harbor Church in Murray.
Mrs. Royal is survived by her husband Gary Royal of Murray, to whom she married in 1959 in Traverse City, Michigan; one daughter, Deborah Bowers of Murray; three sons, Gary Royal, Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee, Ricky Allen Royal and Michael Scott Royal both of Gurnee, Illinois; as well as two grandchildren.
There will be no public visitation or services held.
The J.H. Churchill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
