Mr. Shirrell Lane Massey, age 71, of Murray, Kentucky, died Saturday, July 28, 2018 at his home.
Mr. Massey was born June 27, 1947 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Everette Lowell Massey and Ollie Louise Willoughby Massey. Shirrell was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and was of the Baptist faith. Shirrell was a 1966 graduate of Murray High School.
His survivors include one daughter, Meghan Anna Smithey and husband Adam of McClure, Illinois; one brother, Hugh G. Massey and wife Sara of Murray, Kentucky; special friend Allison Weaver of Murray, Kentucky.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Murray City Cemetery. Rev. Jim Stahler will officiate. There will be no public visitation.
