Sondra Lee Barnett

Mrs. Sondra Lee Covington Barnett, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky, died Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mrs. Barnett was born in Murray, Kentucky on February 11, 1937, to the late John Ed Covington and Nancy Elizabeth Washam Covington. Mrs. Barnett was retired from Regions Bank. She was also a member of the Memorial Baptist Church, and the Winsome Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Barnett is survived by her husband of 61 years Max Bradley Barnett of Murray; one daughter, Beverly Nord and husband Paul of Henderson, Kentucky; one son, John Bradley "Brad" Barnett and wife DeAnn of Murray; three sisters, Sharon Parker and husband Richard of Murray, Linda Miller of Sellersburg, Indiana, and Katie Richardson of Oxford, Michigan; three grandchildren, Katie Nord Blackman and husband Kyle of Louisville, Kentucky, John Nord and wife Kayla of Lexington, Kentucky, and Claire Covington Barnett of Murray; one great grandchild, Covington Frances Blackman of Louisville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held on 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Martin Severns officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
