Sonia D. Hendon

Ms. Sonia D. Hendon, age 59, of Puryear, Tennessee, died on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at her home.

Ms. Hendon was born in Murray, Kentucky on November 22, 1959. Before retirement she was the co-owner of Dee's Transport Trucking in Puryear, Tennessee and was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Murray, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her father Dorsey D. Hendon.

Survivors include her mother, Rachel (Marr) Hendon Thomason of Murray, Kentucky; two brothers, Roger D. Hendon of Puryear, Tennessee and Anthony D. Hendon of West Paducah, Kentucky; nieces and nephews, Whitney Hendon, Ally Hendon, Chevis Hendon, Lauren Holt and husband Blake, Laken Seiben and husband Cody, and London Hendon; two great nieces, Maklayne Holt and Maryn Holt; as well as special friends, Raysha and Scott Blakenship.

Private family services were held.
