Mr. Stephen P. Myers, age 64, of Hazel, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.
Mr. Myers was born on August 21, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Coleman Myers and Norma (Taylor) Myers. He retired from the United States Postal Service as a Rural Carrier and was of the Church of Christ Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Myers.
Survivors include his wife Tina (Cooper) Myers of Hazel, Kentucky; they married on December 22, 1995, in Nashville, Tennessee; one sister, Eva Lynn Hahn of Clinton Township, Michigan; two nieces, Dreena Schotsch (Dustin) of Mount Juliet, Tennessee and Emily Bailey of Mount Juliet, Tennessee; four nephews, Frederick C. Hahn (Veronica) of Wickliffe, Ohio, Stephen M. Hahn (Marilee) of Lapeer, Michigan, Koby Springer of Fort Myers, Florida, and Riot Boggess of Murray, Kentucky; four great nieces; one great nephew; as well as two fur babies, Rose and Hazel.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the Green Plain Cemetery with John Dale officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
