Steve Bogard

Mr. Steve Bogard, age 49, of Murray, Kentucky died on Saturday, September 30, 2017.

Mr. Bogard was born in Murray, Kentucky on February 27, 1968. Mr. Bogard was the owner and operator of Crossland Truck Body, LLC and was previously employed at Briggs and Stratton for 25 years. He was a 1986 graduate of Calloway County High School and attended the Hardin Baptist Church.

Mr. Bogard was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Jane (King) Bogard.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Zsanell (Darnell) Bogard of Murray, Kentucky to whom he married on November 28, 1986 in Murray, Kentucky; father, Paul Bogard of Mayfield, Kentucky; two daughters, Ashley Allyson Bogard and fiancé Dayton Clark of Murray, Kentucky and Alyssa Nicole Bogard of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Braden Austin Gene Bogard of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, James Dale Bogard of Benton, Kentucky; one brother-in-law, Dusty Darnell and wife Susan of Murray, Kentucky; father and mother -in-law, Gene and Debbie Darnell of Odessa, Florida; as well as one niece, Tonya Bogard Morton; and one nephew, Jeffrey Dale Bogard.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hardin Baptist Church with Bro. Ricky Cunningham and Bro. Kory Cunningham officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. There will also be visitation on Saturday, October 7, 2017 prior to the funeral service from 12:00 p.m. until service hour at the Hardin Baptist Church.
