Mr. Steve O. Chadwick, 66, of Murray, Kentucky died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mr. Chadwick was born in Murray, Kentucky on November 4, 1946 to the late Edward Chadwick and Thelma Morris Chadwick. Mr. Chadwick was retired and had been employed by Tappan Manufacturing, Murray Appliance and Ward – Elkins. Mr. Chadwick was a 1964 graduate of Murray High School and was a member of the Sugar Creek Missionary Baptist Church and there a member of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class and a former clerk, trustee and Sunday School teacher.
In addition to his parents Mr. Chadwick was preceded in death by his father and mother in law, Roy Arlon and Geneva Willoughby; and a brother in law, Bert "Joe" Garland, Jr.
Mr. Chadwick is survived by wife Linda Willoughby Chadwick of Murray, to whom he married on June 7, 1968 in Murray, Kentucky; one son, Keith Chadwick and fiancé Tammy Birdsong of Murray; one sister, Jane Garland of Kirksey, Kentucky; one brother, Sammy Chadwick and wife Cheryl of Murray; two brother in law's, Dallas Willoughby and wife LaDean of Murray and Doug Willoughby and wife Jean of Martin, Tennessee; sister in law, Wanda Hughes and husband Jacky of Murray; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Brother Brett Miles and Brother Darrell Walker officiating. Burial to follow in the Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
