Steven Kent Etherton

Mr. Steven Kent Etherton, age 70, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at his home.

Mr. Etherton was born on November 4, 1949, to the late William Kent Etherton and Emma Elaine Garland Etherton. He was retired from Kroger and American Airlines. Mr. Etherton was of the Baptist faith and earned his BA in Journalism and Speech Communication from Murray State University where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert H. and Gladys Etherton; as well as his maternal grandparents, Toy Gaylen and Eula Mae Garland.

Survivors include two brothers, David Mark Etherton (Virginia) of Morehead, Kentucky and William Terry Etherton (Pat ) of Cypress, Texas; two nephews, William Colby Etherton and Robert Canalito Etherton of Cypress, Texas; a uncle, Paul Garland (Vicki); and two aunts, Lottie Garland, and Joyce Vance (Tommy) all of Murray; as well as many cousins.

There will be no public services held at this time; however, a celebration of his life will be announced and held at a later date.
