Mrs. Susan Medlock

Mrs. Susan Jay Medlock, age 64, of Henry County, Tennessee passed away, Sunday, February 23, 2025, at her daughter's home. 

Mrs. Medlock was born on August 8, 1960, in Honolulu, Hawaii to the late Patrick Jay Estes and Brenda (Brandon) Estes. She was a homemaker and a member of the Point Pleasant Baptist Church. Mrs. Medlock was a children’s and youth Sunday school teacher, counselor at Tomorrow’s Hope Pregnancy Medical Center, and was the biggest cheerleader of her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Maryjane Pierceall. 

Survivors include her husband, Mark Wayne Medlock of Buchanan, Tennessee; they married November 22, 1979, in Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Rebecca (Medlock) Carver (Chad) of Buchanan, Tennessee; two sons, Jared Medlock (Jessalyn) and Henry Medlock (Alice) all of Buchanan, Tennessee; one sister, Leigh Sullivan (Aaron) of Louisville, Kentucky; as well as four grandchildren, Westin Carver, Garrett Carver, Truly Medlock, and Micah Medlock; as well as one soon to be baby boy Medlock.

A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Point Pleasant Baptist Church in Buchanan, Tennessee with Bro. Larry Dukes and Bro. Robert McBroom officiating. There will be no public visitation held prior to the Celebration of Life.
