Suzanne M. Oakley

Mrs. Suzanne M. Oakley, 65, of Murray, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at the Murray – Calloway Co. Hospital.
She was a retired L.P.N., and a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Joe C. Oakley of Murray, Ky., they married May 13, 1978 in Murray, Ky., two daughters, Dena L. Farris (John) of Powell, Oh., Diane Tapia of Kingston Springs, Tn., two sons, Jay Thompson (Melissa) of Benton, Ky., and Joe A. Oakley (Christy) of Memphis, Tn., two brothers, Sammy Myers (Shelia) of Murray, Ky., Jim Myers (Nancy) of Dover, Tn., eleven grandchildren, Justin Farris, Laura Farris, Allie Thompson, Courtney Thompson, Carley Oakley, Alex Tapia, Alyassa Tapia, Mackenzie Brindley, Keaton Moore, Katie Hunt, and Noah Hunt.
She is preceded in death by her Father, Sam H. Myers, Mother, Mildred Marine Myers, and by her first husband, Jerry F. Thompson.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Oakley will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2011 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale officiating, entombment will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
