Mr. Ted Potts, 86, of Murray, Ky., died Wednesday, May 05, 2010, at 5:25 p.m. at the Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Ky.
He was retired from Morningstar Foods formerly Ryan Milk Co., was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ, and was a Army Veteran of WWII.
Survivors include four daughters, Kay Creech (Curt) OF St. Louis, Mo., Jean Phillips (Tommy) of Murray, Ky., Peggy King (Eddie) of Chapel Hill, Tn., Jan Tucker (Terry) of Murray, Ky., two sons, Billy Ray Potts (Cindy) of Murray, Ky., and Dan Potts of Madison, Ala. Also one sister Billie Gingles Banks of Nashville, Tn. Also 15 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norella Kelso Potts,parents, Durward Potts, and Chole Norsworthy Potts, also a step mother, Katie James Potts, Son; Bobby Dale Potts, two brothers, Harry Lee and Shelby Potts, and sisters, Phyllis Darnell, Josephine Potts.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, May 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, John Dale will officiate, and burial will be in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
