Thelma Jones

Mrs. Thelma Jones, age 99, of Murray, Kentucky, died 10:30 am Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at The Murray Calloway County Hospital.
She was retired from Murray State University Food Service. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Murray.
She was born in Benton County Tennessee on September 18, 1910 to the late Clifford and Mary Pearl Craig Beasley. In addition to her parents she is also preceded by her first husband, Walter R. Jones Sr., her second husband Ivan Schwarm, daughter, Wanda Ruth Jones, son, Walter R. Jones Jr. two sisters, Ollie Bea Hoffman, Elba Ruth Beasley, three brothers, Hubert Clifford Beasley, Ira Eathell Beasley, Buford Beasley.
She is survived by her daughter Sally Jones Crass and husband A.B. of Ocala Florida, daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Jones of Murray Kentucky, sister, Arra Nell Brown of Lone Oak Kentucky, four grandchildren, Walter R. “Tripp” Jones, Gina Gream, Laurie Rollins, Susan Howard, six great grandchildren, Amberly Rollins Walker, Morgan Rollins King, Hugh Rollins, Ashley Jones, Heather Coombs Congdon, Edwin Coombs, two great great grandchildren, Caroline Larkins, Reese King. She is also survived by step daughter, Faye Spann and husband Don, three step sons, Bob Schwarm and wife Judy, Glenn Schwarm and wife Michelle, and Carroll Schwarm and wife Jo Ann, eleven step grandchildren also survive.
Graveside Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 9, 2010 at 2:00 at the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, April 9, 2010 after 12:00 noon till service time. Rev. Bob Saywell will officiate.
