Thomas Billington

Mr. Thomas Billington, age 74, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mr. Billington was born on December 9, 1949, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Conard Billington and Ollie (English) Billington. He was a retired carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Roxie Lynn Billington; as well as one sister, Donna Mae Billington.

Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Ann Billington of Murray, Kentucky; three sons, Chris Petterson (Susan) of Lake City, Michigan, Robert Billington (Pam Horvath) of Hazel, Kentucky, and Greg Billington of Murray, Kentucky; three sisters, Pat Thompson of Punta Gorda, Florida, Carolyn Chambers (Mark) of Lansing, Michigan, and Phyllis Colthorp of Lansing, Michigan; one brother, Larry Billington (Faye) of Murray, Kentucky; as well as 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the Scotts Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Leon Knotts officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
