Thomas Wade Kirks

Mr. Thomas Wade Kirks, age 58, of Murray, Kentucky died Friday, June 29, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Kirks was born on December 31, 1959 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Rommel Took Kirks and Wilodean Burkeen Kirks. Mr. Kirks was a member of the Russell Chapel United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Walker Kirks; as well as two brothers, Gary Kirks and Timmy Kirks.

Survivors include one daughter, Shelley Outland and husband Rodney of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Jeff Kirks and wife Heather of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Larry Kirks, Sr. and wife Vicki of Lynn Grove, Kentucky; and three grandchildren, Khloe Outland, Grace Outland, and Abigail Kirks.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 2, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Burkeen officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
