Timothy Nathanael Cecil

Timothy Nathanael Cecil, age 8, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Monday, November 19, 2018, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.

Timothy was born on November 30, 2009, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was a third-grade student at East Calloway Elementary School. He is preceded in death by great grandfather, HA Beasley Sr.; and his great grandmother, Mackie Sedman.

Survivors include his adopted parents, Dennis Gilbert and Angela Gilbert of Murray, Kentucky; birth father, Jacob Cecil of Campbell, Missouri; birth mother, Patti Cecil of Columbia, Tennessee; grandparents, Samuel and Glenda Sedman of Harrison, Tennessee; grandfather, Shane Cecil of New Jersey; great grandmother, Peggy Beasley of Murray, Kentucky; grandma caregiver, Wanda Rucker of Hardin, Kentucky; two brothers, Samuel Cecil of Murray, Kentucky and Peter Cecil of Columbia, Tennessee; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 25, 2018, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Russ Crosswhite officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Creek Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 25, 2018, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
