Tommy R Smith

Mr. Tommy R. Smith, age 51, of Murray, KY, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010 at his home. He was born February 4, 1959, in Barren County, KY, to Haskel Lewis Smith and the late Carol Joyce (Smith) Smith. He was employed at Murray State University in the Facilities Management Dept. He was also a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
Mr. Smith is survived by a son, Eric W. Smith of Traverse City, MI; two sisters, Anita Smith of Murray, KY, and Janet (Don) Henley of Maryville, TN; a brother Lewis Smith of Murray, KY; a niece, Kacie Cook (Andy) Hearon of Maryville, TN; and a nephew, Colin Henley of Maryville, TN.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at The J.H. Churchill Funeral Home Chapel. John Dale and Charley Bazzell will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2010, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Green Plain Cemetery.
