Mrs. Tonya Gay (Pridemore) Jones

Mrs. Tonya Gay (Pridemore) Jones, age 61, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away, Thursday, December 12, 2024, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle wreck. 

Mrs. Jones was born in Murray, Kentucky, on August 19, 1963, to the late Lyle Pridemore and Dorothy (Locke) Inman. She was a teacher’s assistant and bus monitor for the Calloway County School System. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Coldwater Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Richard R. Jones of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, LaShell Jones of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Jeremey Jones and wife Laken of Almo, Kentucky and Jason Jones and wife Katie of Nashville, Tennessee; one sister, Renee Garland and husband David of Murray, Kentucky; mother-in-law, Linda Jones of Murray, Kentucky; as well as one aunt, Kay Robertson of Murray, Kentucky.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Luke Puckett officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in the Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
